A third generation family business with a passion for helping organisations do more with less. Established in 1976, we support and work with businesses across the UK, into Europe and the United States.

Acopia was founded with a simple but powerful insight: businesses needed more than just products - they needed expertise to make informed product decisions that balance protection, cost and environmental impact.

After starting life in Crawley, West Sussex, Acopia continued to grow and expand with a number of key product developments and acquisitions, eventually relocating to the sunny south coast in 2013.

Our Story

We are proud of our roots and our rich heritage as well as our international expansion into the United States in 2025.

1976

Company founded under Surrey Paper Bags by Tim Lynes.

1978

Relocated to Reigate, Surrey, and rebranded as Surrey Wholesale.

1980

Relocated to Redhill, Surrey.

1982

Relocated to Horley, Surrey.

2001

Relocated to Crawley, Sussex, and acquired Schofield Packaging.

2011

Acquired Brightstyle.

2012

Purchased Dunsdale, leading to the birth of the Acopia brand, and relocated the business to a 50,000 sq ft facility in Bognor Regis.

2014

Acquired Adams Packaging.

2017

Launched MyAcopia, a single-source online portal for purchasing everyday consumables.

2019

Acquired Interlink Packaging.

2020

Introduced iWrap, a high-performance pallet wrap, and NEST, an eco-friendly eCommerce packaging range, to the UK market.

2022

Launched iTack, a range of tapes made from recycled plastic, to the UK market.

2024

Continued company expansion and growth.

Velo Reusable Transfer and Storage sack launched

iWrap Hand System launched
